IM+ All Your Messaging In One App. (Save Memory On Your Mobile)

Hello people!
This post is specifically for Blackberry users who operate on lots of apps on their mobile.
Obviously, everything's all about social networking. I'm talking about Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, Skype etc. which all have there own mobile apps that makes it easy for us to stay online and updated.
Downloading these apps surely consumes more space than we imagine on our device, resulting in slow performance of the device which you'll agree with me, is a very frustrating experience for all Blackberry users, especially when that small square shaped image appears and the phone hangs. It makes me feel like smashing the phone on the floor.

But luckily for me, while searching for +Skype in app world (which does not exist), I came across a very amazing app, IM+.

IM+ allows you to activate all your messaging apps in one, which saves a lot more space than installing all your messangers individually.

Now lets do a simple maths.
Yahoo messanger = 1mb           AIM = 2mb
Facebook = 3mb                      Twitter = 2mb
MSN = 2mb                             Skype = 4mb
Google Talk = 2mb
Totally, they takes up about 15mb.

Meanwhile, IM+ consumes only 4mb of your memory space. Now you get the logic.

IM+ also supports ICQ, Vkontakte, Yandex IM, Jabber, Mail.Ru Agent, Gadu-Gadu, Mamba, Mig33, Sina Weibo, Odnoklassniki and Renren.

Download IM+ here or from your app world and don't forget to put down what you think of it below.

Tips: How to use your headphones as microphones

Do you know you can use your headphones as microphones just by plugging them into the microphone jack of your computer."

Headphones are extremely common devices. With smartphones, there's practically no one who doesn't own at least one pair. Microphones — at least ones that aren't built into something — are significantly rarer. Both devices trade in vibrations, it's just that "headphones and speakers vibrate to create sound" while "microphones monitor vibrations from sound in order to record it."

So how do you use your headphones as microphones? Easy. Plug them into a microphone jack and start talking.

This isn't exactly secret knowledge, but if you weren't aware, I'll bet it just blew your mind. If you don't believe me, try it. I'll wait.

Crazy, right? Headphones and microphones do operate on the same basic principle, they also tend to be optimized to do their job well. So your headphones can be used as microphones, but not good ones, and your microphone won't make a good speaker.

That aside, it's still awesome and a fun surprise the first time you figure it out. So go ahead, takes some time to feel like a kid again and babble into your headphones a little. And if anyone asks you what you're doing, just tell them "MAGIC!"

Now this is a real party trick for DJs.

How to Track Someone by Cell Phone Number

Tracing cell phone numbers can be tricky because cell phone companies have worked diligently to keep customer information private. However, there are companies that allow you to track someone by cell phone number. These reverse look-up services charge a small fee to provide the cell phone owner's name and address. Although there are free cell phone tracing companies, they only provide the cell phone carrier information and city where the owner lives.

Instructions

1. Use Cell Phone Tracer.
After entering the cell phone number, this company will give you the option of purchasing a full report to view the owner's name and address. The charge for this service is $14.95.

2. Check out Reverse Phone Detectives.
This company allows you to trace the owner's name and address for $14.95. Phone Detectives also provides customers with a money back guarantee, ensuring the results are what you expect.

3. Try Mobile Phone Number.
This company allows individuals to purchase a full report including the cell phone owner's name, city and state. The charge for this report is $14.95.

4. Use Intelius to trace a phone number.
This service allows you to get access to the state the phone number is registered in for free. However, if you want the name and address of the owner, you'll need to pay $4.95.

5. Contact Phone Searches, which is a good option for more complicated cell phone searches. If you need to trace a cell phone number that's disconnected, they offer this service. However this company is more expensive then the others, charging about $100 for cell phone number reports.

Tips

You may be able to track down the phone number using a search engine. Just type the phone number into the search bar (enclosing the phone number in parentheses), and if the number belongs to a business, their information will be displayed in the search results.

Tech researchers hack iPhone with malicious wall-charger

Researchers from the Georgia Institute of Technology are claiming that they have developed a method to inject arbitrary software into iOS via a USB wall-charger.

This charger, which the researchers have named "Mactans," can be used to install malicious software without requiring the phone to be jailbroken or even any user input, and completes installation in less than a minute.

The team warns that a group with more resources could potentially build a device that is more advanced, suggesting it's possible to make it even smaller: "While Mactans was built with [a] limited amount of time and a small budget, we also briefly consider what more motivated, well-funded adversaries could accomplish."

What's more, the researchers say that the malicious software injects itself in a manner that disguises it similarly to the way Apple hides its own inbuilt software, so that the user cannot see or modify it. The hack can compromise iOS devices running the latest version of the operating system.

One of the Georgia Tech researchers, Yeongjin Jang, said that his team reached out to Apple regarding the exploit on Friday, but they haven't yet received a response.

Koobface -- Hijacking of Facebook accounts

Koobface, the fast-spreading Internet worm cybergangs use to hijack Facebook accounts on a massive scale, is on the move once again.

McAfee this morning released a threat report showing samples of Koobface spiking in the Internet wild all through the first three months of 2013.

The logons, contacts and preferences stolen from Facebook accounts feed intelligence into the cyberunderground which spammers can use to hone their spam campaigns.

For instance, they can fake Facebook postings and messages to specific individuals at targeted companies to help them gain access inside corporate networks, where they seek out and usurp privilege accounts. It's not hard to imagine a well-positioned intruder discovering ways to overcome spam filters at targeted companies.

Koobface is a case study of how swiftly cybercriminals react to emerging trends. Its creators initially sent Facebook users friendly messages asking them to click on a link to see a video. Doing so called up another message asking the recipient to click on an executable file — a small computer program — needed to upgrade a video player required to view the video. In a classic bait-and-switch, clicking on the file instead turned over control of the PC to the attackers.

The worm then automatically sent similar viral messages from the victim's account to his or her Facebook friends.

By clicking on the malicious file, the victim intentially chooses to run the bad code. So no actual hack of the computer's hard drive is needed.
